Personal care products are unfortunately loaded with hidden toxicants such as paraben, phthalates, and fragrance. These toxins overburden our bodies (especially our liver) causing our systems to work harder than it should. If our bodies become overburden we start developing chronic diseases now or later in life. We must actively avoid using toxic personal care products and remove them from our bodies and home. Luckily there are simple solutions to all of our body and beauty needs.

Aleavia - Hand and Body Cleanser

This may be a shock but body soap is not necessary. Rinsing and washing your body with water does the job perfectly well without adding harmful triclosan or alkylphenols, often found in soap. With that some people still feel the need to use soap. This enzymatic cleanser removes bacteria without adding toxicants.

Yay for Earth - Face Lotion

Primally Pure - Everything Spray

This spray lives up to its name and is seriously great for everything! I mostly use it as a face toner, but also as a bathroom spray, for sunburns, and my favorite way is on the armpits of a shirt when the shirt is clean but the armpit smell. So many wins.

Protection for up to 80 minutes. Reef safe. Comes in a reusable, recyclable, plastic-free tin. A better option for our health and the health of our living planet.

Pura d’or - Tamanu Oil

Tamanu oil has significantly helped with my face scaring since suffering from years of acne. Tamanu has regenerating properties that promote cell proliferation and collagen production essential for reducing scars.

Meow Meow Tweet - Deodorant

Finding a non-toxic deodorant that works for you can be difficult. I have found that this one works well for me and many others. Plus it's plastic free and has cute packaging.

Davids Toothpaste

No fluoride, sulfates, paraben, or any other made made toxicant in Davids toothpaste. Plus it comes in a recyclable metal tube. Better for our wellness and the planet.

Silk Floss

You may or may not know but typical floss is made out of plastic and as you floss plastic bits can break off and enter your digestive system. We don't need to keep adding toxins to our toxic environments/ bodies. Instead use this biodegradable silk floss that comes in reusable glass bottles. Better for our bodies and the planet. .

Simply add a few tablespoons to cup then fill the cup with your shower water, massage into your hair, leave for 5 minutes then rinse and viola.

A large part of hair health is brushing your hair often and with a wooden brush. The wooden bristles help to properly distribute the oils from your scalp to your ends promoting better circulation and hair growth.

Calendula Cream

Instead of using neosporin that can may lead to dermatitis, this calendula cream is great for any scrapes, cuts, burns, sunburns, or chafing.

Some people aren't into reusable period products and that's totally cool! Tempdrop is another temperature fertility tracking device. You wear it around your arm during the night to track your basal body temperature. Its especially helpful if you don’t get consistent sleep such as nursing moms, night owls, or shift workers.
